Gods, I haven't updated since the beginning of 11th grade. Seems to me that everytime I write in my blog is during a break/holiday or something.... its difficult to keep up with this because this school year is the hardest, and most vital year of highschool. junior year, at least almost half of it is torturous...i guess...

it was the first year i stayed up till 5 am trying to finish a project which if you'd like to look at it its there. that day I slept at 5:30am and woke up at 2:00 pm. yes. i skipped but it was much needed. i don't know if i could've lasted if i hadn't done that. plus, i was fatigued. =D thats GT-AP English for you right there...easy, but can bite you in the butt when you aren't looking. the teacher is really sweet though...

learning JAVA wasn't as hard as i had thought it be... my brother is taking the same class, same teacher different period, so we help each other out when need be. teacher - nice but can sometimes have weird mood swings so watch out there. hehe.

most of my other classes are as usual rigorous but i love it. pre-calculas is tough but i think i can handle it and my teacher is hilarious. =D love her! spanish at the end of the day is wonderful - made lots of new friends well not really new but just ppl i haven't really talked to.

AP united states history is one of the most fast-paced class i have ever taken. everyday there is a reading quiz, no joke, even the day after tests and when essays are due. there is a ton of writing to be done here - timed free response, timed document based questionaires, take home DBQs, take home analytical summarizations! and get this, the minuteness mistakes are scutinized. (once i had written one word in present tense: i remember it now it was: 'has'. he crossed out the has, wrote 'not correct tense' and then the worse ' - 10 points ' ) but i've gotten used to it and strove through. =D AND he'll make us unbelievably prepared for the AP test at the end of the year.

now i have never hated a teacher in my life. well, a certain art teacher i disliked but never hated. well this year i have finally met that person. this class has made me sadistic, pessimistic, and almost indifferent towards the subject. physics. is. absolutely. horrible. cannot believe i thought i could handle this class. its dumb and the homework takes FOREVER to finish. blashphemy! the tests are even weirder and doesn't make any sense. when i try to understand everything, the darn teacher throws a curve ball and just makes things difficult. it is so dumb. wow. ALMOST everyone hates the subject and the intructor even more. except for the weirdos that actually get the class and *gasp* likes the teacher.... hmphf! whatever you do do not take this class. its suicide. but i am trying my hardest to make sense out of this mess, just a half a year more to go and i'm free.

the rest of this semester has been a blur: model united nations (having a conference at Austin coming up in January, representing Saudi Arabia, topic: status of women, its going to be hilarious/fun), Business Professionals of America (having competition late January. our website is going to pawn!), PSATs, SAT (got a decent score , but not good enough will try harder next time!), passed my driving test!!!, december issue of BHG magazines came out with my cookie! (can view it at the BHG website), watched national treasure 2: book of secrets (and i totally knew what was going on because of us history!) , saw the jonas brothers at the texas state fair, looked forward to every monday only because HEROES Season II would come on at 8 pm, got HEROES:SEASON I for christmas (very excited- and in the midst of brainwashing my brother into getting hooked on the show!), had the most amazing snowcones at Bahama Bucks (pink lemonade!) --- blah-the-blah-the-blah....

so yeah basically this was my year. and did i mention i am also obsessed with 5 gum and its wrapper. you can literally peel off this white film and stick the shiny top onto anything. currently trying to create the world on my calculator cover...

2007 was a whirlwind adventure....PLUS it was my lucky number year. anyways hope next year brings joy and love and laughter and happiness to all. 2008 here we come.

august 27th was a hectic day.

we reached home at about midnight from Seattle and by the time we took a shower, unpacked, etc. we'd only get about 4 hrs of sleep before the much anticipated 11th grade started.

it was fun seeing old friends, catching up on things, etc etc. although i was quite Jet-lagged from my Alaskan Cruise trip on the Golden Princess and tour of Seattle. nevertheless, i wouldn't have missed the first day of school because of tiredness. my new history teacher says: "finis origine pendet" meaning "the ends depends upon the beginning." I'll need to be giving a solid good first impression of course. i miss my old classes somewhat, i don't recognize some people but i'll make new friends in time!

Home room was first. I didn't have time to go to my locker and went straight there. Thus, i had all my baggage with me. we received our OFFICIAL schedule. (which was exactly the same as my UNOFFICIAL one, so i didn't see the point in that...)

(AP Computer Science) was 1st period. I hardly knew anyone. but by the end of the week I made like 3 friends. quite proud of myself actually.
(English III GT/AP) was 2nd period. Rowdy class. Calm and spacey teacher. Sounds familiar. yet it wasn't the same. this teacher can control us, quite different from last year. i'm sticking with this class.
(Communication Application) was 3rd. i only kinda sorta know 2 people. but speech is about interaction. i'll live. the only problem is how far away the class is. i don't know how i'm going to get there on time!
(Pre-AP Pre-Cal) boy thats a mouthful. teachers seems extremely energetic and sincere. a full class. quite a few familiar faces. its going to be one heck of a year.
(AP Physics B) seems quite interesting. Few people. by the end of the week I have to other friends at my table. it'll be fun. (can't believe i drew the 9 of hearts!)
(APUSH) is quite a large class. again, extremely vociferous but our dear professor will be able to quiet us down. curriculum seems rigorous. already have loads of homework!
(AP Spanish Language) is pretty awesome. Small class but quite a few friends. teacher is extremely fluent. will learn loads!

all in all not as bad as anticipated. looking forward to a new year! =D
wish me luck! (will fill you in on the alaskan cruise some other time!)

its the apocolypse! the world is about to end!

I'm updating my blog, I simply cannot believe that the last blog entry was April 2006. Have I been busy or what...

Firstly, I'm no longer a freshman let alone a sophomore. We're upperclassmen now, I kind of like the sound of that. Though it is scaring me a little, college is just around the corner looming ahead in the distance. How creepy is that?!

Well, Sophomore year can be summed up in 3 words: Better than Last!
(I'll say being a fish was never really fun...)

 1. AP World History was by far the best class thats ever happen to me. Great teacher (who boasts: teaching us to learn, making it fun along the way, and "excellant customer service") - This was the same one at which I was too afraid and intimidate of in the beginning of the year, but by the end I was able to pull my 92 up to a 100! =D Although now I think his essay drills have cursed me into writing everything about history...

 2. Algebra 2 was absolutely wonderful, even with the 1 hour studying prep I did before quizzes, tests, dailys, etc. The longest period of the day and one of the goofy-est, funniest, most interesting class ever.

 3. Espanol (Spanish III) Class have been the most supportive of my cooking creations. Since its the first period of the day, we often have secret FIESTAS at which everyone other class finds out about it and totally gets angry with us...haha. fun stuff! i'll never forget "LA CATRINA!"

 4. Chemistry was (i can't believe i'm saying this) awesome! The Urq actually liked our class so it was definately more different than the other classes. We were absolutely awful as we "discussed" during testing but were never caught. The Number 7 calculator is now established as forever mine! =D I'll never forget the cards after class!

 5. GTLA is Defense Against the Dark Arts in HP. The room is cursed. We've had 5 teachers come through only this year. And our class was the rowdiest most awful and spontaneous one ever. Who steals the phone on the wall or breaks the cupboard?! 6th period was an absolute mess, fun, but a mess...

 6. Aerobics was horrible, couldn't be worse. Okay, I had some pretty cool friends in the class but the teacher, oh man, she HATED me with a passion. She couldn't even properly pronounce my name. And what WAS that yoga-pilates stuff we learned?!

 7. the rest of the classes were quite blah...won't go into that too much.

 8. of course my newfoundlove for the wonderfully intense and suspenseful HEROES!!!

Summer vacation was a wonderful release from all the stress of school ---accept for one thing, I was bombarded with summer classes that ambitious little me is taking. (ha! sounds like what a former LA teacher said..."you use too much vocabulary in your essay. you bombard each sentence with high lever vocabulary")

Also the birthday partys....first there was Alex's, Mine/Eileens', Emily's, Katy's, Tessa's, Emma's, Evan's (seven total ha! my lucky number!), oh wait, sharon's as well! =D

And the movies: who could miss out on Spiderman 3, Shrek 3, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Surf's Up, Ratatouille (Hors d'ererves party- Chocolate fountain), Transformers (i missed like 10 minutes of the climax due to jet lag), Disturbia (Cathay Pacific Airway), Premonition (Cathay Pacific Airway), Aladdin! (Cathay Pacific Airway), Blades of Glory (Cathay Pacific Airway) and of course Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!

Highlight of the Summer so far:

 1. SAT Prep where I rose my score at least 500 points!

 2. Lifeguard Training where I earned my liscence in CPR and First Aid.

 3. Drivers ED! where I got my permit. (I've driven with my mother!)

 4. Plane Trigonometry?!

 5. PE online?!

 6. Made Cinnamon Rolls!

 7. Best Scones are Cherry Chocolate Chip.

 8. Haircut! (bob shaped-ish!)

 9. Fixed Glasses!

 10. Went back to Singapore... (may my grandmother rest in peace...)

 11. Met weiting, steffi & family, ethel & family, yima & family, cousins, uncles/aunts etc etc.

 12. Ate Beard Papa Original Cream Puff! (expensive but sooo good!)

 13. Talked to Rihanna!

 14. 07/07/07 (super lucky day!)

 15. a 4 on my AP TEST!

 16. I've been chosen as the first prize winner for Better Homes and Gardens Magazine for my White Chocolate Cinnamon Wreaths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =D

 17. Finished a new blogskin...looks a little weird but visit it at http://blogskins.com/info/150334

alright its 1 pm and i need to start sleeping early...! jet lag what can I say!

"...Give me my Romeo; and, when he shall die
Take him and cut him out in little stars,
And he will make the face of heaven so fine
That all the world will be in love with night
..."

-Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet

This is one of my favorite quotes in this play. Our class just finish the Shakespeare unit. This is like the first time I got to read Romeo and Juliet. It's pretty good but I couldn't really understand the Shakespearean English... =D It's also kinda dumb that they kiss before they knew each other, and then get married the next day. Also, way too many people die in the play. Well, I guess that is why they call it a tradgedy.

Spring Break was a few weeks ago so Happy Spring! It totally sucks that we have a time change... Spring forward one hour. I am so deprieved of sleep...

During the break, I watched this really cool horse show called Cavalia. And I also got to finally see this wickedly awesome movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. It was really good and I recommended it to all of you.

Wow this is a really short post (in a long long time). I gotta go study for my Biology test. Wish me luck.... =D

Hey Guys...
sorry for not updating since the new year but you know, I got so much stuff to do. Lots of homework, projects, essays, tests, quizzes, etc. etc. Its like consuming my life now, I wish I just had a moment to breathe. So I kinda broke my New Year's Resolution...hehe, whoops. Anyways for all the forgotten holidays that I didn't wish you guys...
Happy belated Chinese New Year (Gong Hei Fatt Choy)
Happy belated February! (can you believe it...2006 is passing by so fast).
Happy belated Valentines Day! <3
Happy belated Olympics!
So what do yall think about my blogskin? better or worse...be honest here, I can change it very easily.
School kinda sucks. I hate it, I mean I extremely dislike it. I still have the worse grade in art. ART is suppose to be the most relaxing class.
ART is suppose to be the easiest class.
ART is suppose to be a blowoff class.
BUT NO:
ART is stressful.
ART is my hardest class.
ART is stuupid.
I thought I used to like art but not anymore, not after my teacher had scarred me for life. The class sucks and the teacher sucks even more!!!!! -_-
well...on a brighter note my other classes are going along great. Health is my worst grade next to ART. Well, at least i'm learning. We just finish the Unit about Fitness and Nutrition. Yay! My favorite. Now, we are starting drugs and alcohal. Boring. Boring. Boring. My English teacher has improved alot. I am very proud of her. =D I have gotten to the bad side of my world geog teacher so I need to really start sucking up...hehe. My geometry and biology teachers are really really extremely nice. And my teacher de espanol is AWESOME!
Guess what
on January 20, 2006. I saw my very first shooting star. we were just out looking for people when I saw it just fall right out of the sky. it was really pretty and i made a wish on it.
Well...
I need to go to study for world geography now. We have a SouthAsia quiz tomorrow. I also have a TAKS Reading Test on tuesday so wish me luck!

Happy New Year Everybody!
Goodbye 2005! Hello 2006!
So 2006 has been pretty awesome, i guess. We had this New Year's Eve party where we waited till like midnight before we toasted and everything. I had sparkling cider, which tasted kinda gassy-ish. I didn't sleep till like 4 am on New Year's Day. I was so tired.
My New Year's Resolution:
 1. I will try something new everyday.
 2. I will try to do/finish things faster.
 3. I will manage my time well.
 4. I will try and update more often.
 5. I will go walking everyday and take care of my health.
 6. I will try to relax more often and don't stress so much.
 7. I will sleep earlier.
 8. I will do my best to grow to 1.70 cm/ 5ft 7 inch.
 9. I will do things to my best ability.
 10. I will do well in school.
 11. I will wake up with a smile on my day.
 12. I will be nice to everyone.
 13. I will not give up.
 14. I will not drink soda or coffee unless it is necessary.
 15. I will live life to the fullest and appreciate the things that I have.

Well, thats all I can think of for now. Oh yeah, I made a new blogskin today. You can visit it here. I guess this is my new thing for today, huh?!

I wish everyone the best new year ever!!! =D
